I have never had spinach in a quiche before ….mind you, I don’t really eat much spinach

It’s a classic combination isn’t it ….

You should make one for yourself ….either small ones or large that you can cut into portion size pieces and freeze it.

@Traceyjayne Yeah, and listen to her complain because she has to smell it cooking and doesn't have anything to eat. Not happening.

I have never had a quiche with nutmeg in…I would have to pass on that as I don’t like nutmeg.

@Traceyjayne I love it even though it smells of furniture polish. Goes really well with ricotta.

@xFiacre my Mom puts nutmeg on the top of rice pudding.

Quiche has a pastry bottom then the filling which is a mixture of egg and milk beaten together…. Add whatever you like ….. Cheese, onion, bacon Smoked salmon and cream cheese, Veggies Tomato and broccoli Tuna When the filling is added cook in the oven for about 30 minutes. It can be eaten hot or cold. I usually have it with salad and chips ( fries ) I like it hot. It’s served cold on a buffet at parties. Sometimes it might be called a flan.

It’s usually Mom that makes the quiche but I do make them sometimes. I do a nice one that uses cottage cheese too.
