Is there a chore that is not difficult, but you can't seem to get it done?

Maybe by writing about it here, will inspire me to get it done. I am feeling kind of motivated to do it today. It isn't something yukky like clean the bathroom, it is just putting my library card onto Kanopy on my Kindle. I guess I haven't felt the need to do it, since I have other video choices. However, I would like to see what they have, and I think I would like it. I think I can get it done today. I will just make a point of it. I have been wanting to do this for 6 months..but clearly not that much. Do you have one of "those" tasks?

I had a pan in the sink for quite awhile once. Just did not want to clean it.

@snowy22315 Feeling the grease on my fingers is what I dislike more.

I did get that one loaded. I think writing about it was the catalyst

@JudyEv I think seeing myself talking about it motivated me.

@snowy22315 Sometimes writing it down or creating a list makes all the difference.

That's important though even if you make it now, you probably won't get in for a few months. I was lucky with mine. BTW, after writing about it, I got it done.

Yes. Shredding. I always seem to put it off.

I used to shred years ago, but I hated those little confetti pieces if paper. They got everywhere.

@snowy22315 I'm just too lazy to haul out the shredder, shred and empty the bin by myself (hubby used to always do it for me).

I need to write a few old-fashion type of letters. I keep putting it off. I think, oh, I will do it later...and later I am so tired it doesn't get done.

I want to practice my calligraphy signature. I don't do that either. Couldn't you work on the letters when son is having some kind of procedure?

I've tried that, but I always get interrupted or get off track somehow. Hard to concentrate there. But thank you, Snowy.

I have lots of those types of things as well as some "yucky" ones, but I can see how posting on myLot makes everyone who reads about those chores your accountability partner.

It's hard for me to thread the needle now - I'm farsighted and don't wear glasses
