My first thought was, oh, those with children are going to say parenting. Mine was going to the 2000 summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia. We (me and my sister) then had a side trip to New Zealand. It was nuts. I’m glad I had it though. I had no idea of things to come later in life so it was a fun adventure.
What about you?

You are right, parenting is an adventure! A couple of trips stand out though...seeing the giant redwoods in California, Amazing! Also, the first time I went to London was very memorable, as were the Badlands. So many great trips really. Not sure I will ever make it to that side of the world to see Australia and New Zealand, but China is on my bucket list.

Mmm...Well, it was either the 1981 trip my family took through 13 of the states and Canada--where I got to see many things I never thought I'd see--or the 1986 trip (both were about a month long) where we went to the 1986 World Exposition, and got to see a lot of cool things both at the exposition and other places.

Parenting has definitely been an adventure. Taking in kids who weren't yours originally is a different type of adventure and I'm glad I experienced that, too.
Pretty and I have traveled all over the US and enjoyed most of it. A couple of times we didn't have fun along the way, but that's just how life is.
