What is the greatest adventure you’ve ever had?

My first thought was, oh, those with children are going to say parenting. Mine was going to the 2000 summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia. We (me and my sister) then had a side trip to New Zealand. It was nuts. I’m glad I had it though. I had no idea of things to come later in life so it was a fun adventure. What about you?

You are right, parenting is an adventure! A couple of trips stand out though...seeing the giant redwoods in California, Amazing! Also, the first time I went to London was very memorable, as were the Badlands. So many great trips really. Not sure I will ever make it to that side of the world to see Australia and New Zealand, but China is on my bucket list.

I have great memories of different trips, but I particularly remember Morocco. The Marrakech desert tour with one night in the desert has been a wonderful adventure. That was our delayed honeymoon.

Probably going to Disney World! It was so much fun. I have thought everyday about going back. But as usual most everything takes money!

Mmm...Well, it was either the 1981 trip my family took through 13 of the states and Canada--where I got to see many things I never thought I'd see--or the 1986 trip (both were about a month long) where we went to the 1986 World Exposition, and got to see a lot of cool things both at the exposition and other places.

Perhaps hiking in the mountains of Montana with bears all around. Or working with young children in the San Francisco Bay Area with angry feminists all around.

All the trips I took with my family as a kid and the trips I took with my husband and children were great adventures with wonderful memories.

Parenting has definitely been an adventure. Taking in kids who weren't yours originally is a different type of adventure and I'm glad I experienced that, too. Pretty and I have traveled all over the US and enjoyed most of it. A couple of times we didn't have fun along the way, but that's just how life is.

I would say a visit to Rome over the New Year's holiday back in 2001.

I always enjoyed the Florida Keys and Everglades. I would get all tingly when we used to go there. Going to the Beatles concert. Getting married and being with my hubby for 58 years, 54 married. Our whole trip to the west coast was amazing. So much to see and do. We traveled from Tijuana Mexico to Vancouver Canada. These were all adventures for me. And there's more; but I don't want to bore you.
