What's for dinner? November 14

What's going on the dinner table tonight? Share with us!
I didn't have anything thawed so I'm going with a pasta dish--penne al vodka. (penne with vodka sauce) The sauce will be homemade of course. It is based on the recipe from the Carmine's cookbook but I've made it a zillion times so now I just kind of wing it. I'm not going to bother with a vegetable but I'm not worried about it because I'm a grown up and eat plenty of vegetables on most days.
That's what is happening here. What are YOU having? I want to know!

I made some beef barley soup and it tastes so good to me, I'm having that, and probably a salad with it. Son said he wants soup, too, so we shall see if he wants salad or something else with his tonight.
Vodka sauce is so good. So many people won't try it because they see the vodka word, which is silly, but hey...they are missing out! Eat a few bites for me, please!
