I almost forgot to post about it. Well, actually I did forget since I did not actually post about it.
I'm talking about our egg in the middle we had for dinner on Thursday that I had mentioned I was planning to make in another post. It's basically just a piece of bread, buttered on one side, with a hole made in it, that you fry an egg in the middle of.
I like my eggs yolky, and so that's how I made them. And on the side we had some sausage links.
I like to have a little bit of pancake syrup with my links. Sue me later, but it's damn good eats if you ask me.
As not to be wasteful, I always throw the holes in the pan as well and make them into crispy, toasty little rounds.
Have you ever had or made egg in the middle before?

I've never made them but have eaten them before. I couldn't manage with the yolky eggs.
The sausages and bread rounds look good, though.

@porwest Mom used to cook fried eggs with runny yolk because that's what she liked. Then she got tired of me cutting into an egg, seeing yolk running on my plate and me throwing the egg away.
I had to tell her every time that I wanted the yolk cooked all the way.

No, I've never made or had them. I don't like my eggs yolky....only scrambled, deviled or in egg salad.
