That's good she is. Well doesn't sound too bad about his call. Mmm, wedges sound good. I forget what my first meal was, but we had Dairy Queen for dinner - Eli's choice because it was his birthday. I got the strips tossed in BBQ sauce as always

@MommyOfEli2013 I'm sorry he was sick on his birthday. I hope he enjoyed the arcade.

I bet you probably got a nice little loot from the cans. Usually when the wife and I turn ours in we get about $60-$100. Of course it depends on the going rate. For dinner I made a Hatfield marinated pork loin with buttered glazed carrots and baked potato on the side.

So far she's received $18. There are a lot more cans to go.

@LindaOHio The last time we went, I think we got something like 45 cents per pound. One time we got $1 a pound. Man, that was a haul.

The usual for lunch (with @LooeyVille in the booth next to me…we threw tortilla chips at each other! ), grilled cheese and hash browns for dinner. And applesauce!

I'm happy that you won't be alone for Thanksgiving and that's a good way to use the recycling to pay for dinner. Yesterday was a very uneventful day for eating. Last night we had broccoli & cheddar soup which we got in Sams Club (so good) with a small salad on the side. But, we did manage to have ice cream for dessert

@LindaOHio It was called Kaiserschmarrn. It's basically pancakes pulled apart and served with applesauce and ice-cream.

Yesterday for breakfast I had fried potatoes, a small cheese omelette, and for lunch I had half a grilled chicken BLT. I had a lite of my sister’s cinnamon roll cream cheese soft pretzel, and then a Dole Whip. Dinner was pepperoni, mushroom, and green pepper pizza.
