November treat.

At last my garden has enjoyed a good frost. The roads and footpaths are clear, but the hills, fields and gardens were white when I ventured out this morning, and cars coming in from beyond the town were frost-encrusted too. The sky is intensely blue.
I love this kind of weather so long as I remain vertical when out for a walk. Yet all I hear is the complaining of others who seem quite shocked that towards the end of November Ireland gets cold. The general judgement passed on the situation is “ridiculous”.

We've already had 2 inches of snow. I could do very well without any for the season. I hate winter with a passion.

We're still enjoying fall weather here but we have had one good frost that killed all the leaves on the trees. It is 15C this morning which is fine with me. I'm going to have to drive this morning to the new Endo's office 70-something miles away. It is storming, though, which means the lines on the highway won't be as clear as I would prefer them to be while driving. Pretty will have to help me watch for turns, too.
I hope you're enjoying your day.
