Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 47 degrees F and cloudy here at the Jersey Shore. Yuck.
It was an easy day at work. I showed a video and then the students played UNO, Jenga, Shut the Box, and Apples to Apples. I think it is valuable for them to socialize and interact with their classmates. They aren't allowed to be on their phones in class but they still have their Chromebooks so they like to watch YouTube on them instead of talking to each other.
I need to get going on the cinnamon rolls for tomorrow's bake sale but I'm just sitting here letting the leg massagers do their thing for a bit. I'll get them prepared and proofing and then I'll make a loaf of banana bread. That was a big hit last time.
What's everyone else up to this afternoon?

Yum, I love cinnamon rolls! I haven’t made them in a while. Maybe soon.
It’s dreary and gloomy here. Was super foggy this morning. In a bit I have to take son to get an echocardiogram. And for a blood test check. So fun!

I would have loved playing games in class. I hope your students enjoyed it.
I am thinking about going back to sleep. Our high was supposed to reach 64F this afternoon but we only reached 61F and it's storming again right now.

That's good that you encourage the kids to interact. Too many of them hardly know how to nowadays.
