Here and Gone

At the stroke of 3p. The Housing lady knocked. In a loud voice she asked if she could come in. (The cats all jumped and ran in different directions. Poor dears) She came in, walked through and after questioning my daughter about preparations for the spray service on Monday she proclaimed: " Looks good. Keep it up!" She had been in the apartment just a minute and POOF! she was gone. It reminded me of the scene in The Wizard of Oz when the nasty dog hating neighbor came by with her high pitched voice.
Ugh! Glad that's over.

it's like poof now you see her, now you don't. Glad it was quick and she didn't hang around.

Yes, I am glad it is over. I don't know for sure what I expected. I'm just always a bit nervous.

It was the end of her day and week so I'm sure she was glad to hurry along her way.

I'm glad she didn't stay. I think she expected us to have it all ready for Monday and we weren't.
