Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 54 degrees F and cloudy here at the Jersey Shore. I feel like I haven't seen the sunshine in months. I was going hard at work today until my 6th period class. I lost my steam and then the students started asking me random stuff and telling me various things. Normally I would have shut them down but its Friday and it was a long week so I just let them go. They were even asking to see my wedding dress. I didn't even attempt to start with my last class. We did do the Connections and Wordle so at least they used their brains a bit. We did well with the bake sale this morning. It wasn't as crazy as the first one when we made $350 but we made just over $200. That is more than enough for what I have planned for December. We sold almost everything. The members loaded up whatever wasn't sold before school onto a cart and I brought it to all of my classes, a class I was covering, and my hall duty. There were just a few strawberry crumble cookies and a couple of bags of chocolate chip cookies left by the end of the day. I put them in the fridge in the faculty room to keep them safe from the mice over the weekend. I'll put them out on the table on Monday and they will be gone in like 2 hours. I'm back at the apartment now with the cat crew. I don't have any big plans for the afternoon or evening which is fine with me because I'm tired. It has been a long week and I've been awake since before 4am. What's everyone else up to this afternoon?
