Do you notice the difference in your energy throughout the day?

We all have rises and falls with our energy, but lately I have been noticing how much different I feel in the morning or early afternoon and the evening. I can easily do my steps on the treadmill early afternoon, but after dinner it is so much more of an effort. Yesterday, I really did not feel like doing them in the evening, and my body did not want to cooperate. I made myself though. It is so much easier early in the day, but I have to do it twice a day because I get bored doing them all in one fell swoop.

I always have the most energy in the morning, especially after about an hour after I get up and all my medication kicks in. Around 2pm, my energy starts to go. By 4pm, I’m barely hanging on. But I get up at 4:30am; if I could sleep later I’d last longer.

Same with me...it takes about an hour for my meds to kick in and then I'm ready to do stuff.

My energy is good at 2 but in the evening it seems to be no good, well for physical things anyway. Mentally I am tired of being online or whatever..but the difference isn't as notable.

My morning energy doesn't really hit until mid-morning and that's when I try to get the most important things done. By 3pm I need a nap and have always been a mid-afternoon lagger ever since my childhood. I surprised I never fell asleep during my last class when I was in school

I usually am ready to work or do things when I get up as long as I have slept well the night before. I will lay down in the afternoon on ocassion, but it isn't usual.

@Marilynda1225 It really depends on what I have been doing.

@snowy22315 you're lucky you don't run out of energy in the afternoon.

I tend to have the most energy after lunch and when I wake up from my nap in the afternoon. If I don’t do anything in those windows of opportunity around the house they probably won’t get done.

Yes, after dinner even if I haven't eaten a lot I feel sluggish it seems.

@snowy22315 I like to "keep busy." But there are days in which I just want to totally "chill."

After meals I have a big lag in energy. It's when I can fall asleep more easily.

I feel moderately energetic until about 3 PM, when I need a break.
