I admit I don't have much. I am ordering son a subscription to Popular Mechanics, but it probably won't be there in time for Christmas. I do have an Alexa device I can give him though provided I find it. I don't think he has one and I have one I bought for him several years ago that I never got a chance to give him. I think I may mostly stick with Amazon gift certificates this year. I will give my dad's to my mom and she can help him pick something out. I have given him in the recent past robes, socks and nuts which he likes..but it is hard to pick out something for somebody who does nothing.

@snowy22315 Yes. One each for the two cousins and one for the lady across the street that brings my trash can back to the garage.

My husband and I do not exchange Christmas present anymore, we buy what we need during the year. I am shopping because we receive two friends for Christmas Eve, so I have to find something for them. I will shop at Amazon to have toys delivered to the children of our niece. The girl started school this year, I think that children books would be better than toys. The boy is only 2 years old.

That would be hard to choose a gift for him.
I think most of the gifts I’m giving this year will be things I got for free. The money I got for selling things was spent on food for my trip, and a visit to my cupping/massage lady. I know it’s good stuff though, so hopefully everyone will like them. Shipping is always a lot too, so hopefully I’ll see most of the recipients in person. Another problem is I don’t know where some of these gifts are now that everything is in trash bags.

@snowy22315 I have rooted through five so far, but haven’t found any of the bigger ticket items yet. I found mostly clothes, decorations , and old electronics. Thankfully, he put all the items I received while I was gone, in my car. So some presents are in my car for now.

With Hubby, Daughter and Son, we decided we are going to save our pennies for a trip or an experience together from now on instead of buying Christmas gifts. My mom doesn't need or want anything - she seems to be happy in receiving a new pot of flowers/plant. My sister and BIL (plus dog) aren't really in the picture anymore it seems - so I'm not bothering with them. I've already shopped for close friends and their pets early - done.
But there are so many instructors, office people, various folks in the communities we have dealt with this year . . . as they are almost friends, I'd like to get something small in appreciation for them.

George and I did the gift thing the first couple years we were together, but now I'm happy if he knows what day of the week it is. In fact, he was looking at a calandar, and mentioned that Christmas was next (this) thuresday. Affasia life. I know he meant thanksgiving.

I was thinking about something cool lke cashmere socks..They would feel great, but it would be a waste of money really. He doesn't get dressed up anymore and he can sit around in other socks and or slippers. Mostly he wears slippers everyday.

@JudyEv Nice idea. My dad doesn't drink though. His meds would likely prohibit that anyway
