A Very Rude Awakening This Morning / myLot

I am a night owl. I usually stay up until about 3a. watching the YouTube or something else I have found on one of the TV apps. I don't get up the following day until at least 10a. or later on most mornings. This morning, I was awakening about 6a. by a phone call.

I thought I recognized the number, so I answered it. No, it was one of those Medicare people. I laid back down and was just getting to sleep again when I get another call. And another one. Three calls in one hour and 45 minutes. If I were a farmer like many here in Idaho are I probably wouldn't have minded a phone at 6a. but, no, I am a retired night owl. I hadn't turned on my do not disturb. Just haven't had it on for the last few months. Not even sure why. Well, you can be assured I turned it on again. GRRR!!

After those three calls I got no more calls too which really angers me.

Couldn't go back to sleep after the 3rd call. I actually got 12 calls throughout the day. I have set up my do not disturb capability on my phone now.

I got a 5:30am spam call the last month after going two days without sleeping. I was very angry with that person for waking me up. I mean, good grief.

I would be too. I set the do not disturb back up on my phone. 12 calls from these people in one day.

I forgot I'd have to "train" my new phone on what calls to put through and which ones to simply hang up on without making a sound. I keep getting calls from different police departments begging for money. *sigh* I've blocked four or five of them now and told my new phone that they're spam so it won't let them ring through anymore.

I've gotten a few of those too. I do get a 'possible Spam' identification on my phone, but I wasn't awake so didn't even see it. I have the 'do not disturb' turned on my phone now. I turned it off at some point a few months ago. I got 12 calls Tuesday from those people

@celticeagle Pretty keeps giving out my phone number to different businesses so they'll call me instead of bothering her. I've started waking her up to take their calls after telling them HER number and saying I am going to block their number after she talks to them. Hopefully, that will fix that problem. (I'm not telling her I'm doing that, though. She should be able to deal with people herself.)
