I hope you are all enjoying a nice Thanksgiving. No anxiety and plenty of good food and family togetherness. Enjoy! I wanted to share some Thanksgiving stats with you: * The day after Thanksgiving is the busiest day of the year for plumbers. * About 11% of Americans order out on Thanksgiving. * Over 46 million turkeys are consumed and 50 million pumpkin pies. (I wonder how much whipped cream is used) * The average size of family gatherings is 9. * Butterball gets over 100,000 calls with questions on this day. (I got tired of typing Thanksgiving) * On average hosts spend about $431 for the dinner. (That's about half our monthly groceries expenditure) * Hosts spent about 9.6 hours preparing the feast. * In 1953 Swanson developed the famous turkey dinner and it sold for .98 cents. * The first Thanksgiving actually lasts for 3 days. * The Sunday after is the busiest day in U.S. airports. Well, there you have it. Hope you are having a nice day. The picture is from getwallpapers.com

My local news station was talking live on camera to a woman working the Butterball advice line three days ago, and their phone lines were all busy while they chatted on TV.

Sounds like a lot of people don't know their way around a turkey.
