Winter is definitely here

I wish we could say the same here in Florida. We had a really brief cold spell in early November (with freeze warnings!!!), and then a mild cold spell for 2 days over Thanksgiving and Black Friday, but now the temps are back into the 80s. It's supposed to be a very warm winter for us this year, and so far the weather forecasters have been correct.

I wonder if they went through Iowa, where I went to college.

I pray your daughter and family will have a safe trip home. As for snow, I don't know if you like that white stuff but if you don't I hope you won't get any ..... thankfully it's too warm here for any, I only want to see snow in videos or pictures.

Snowstorms sound awful. I've given up ever wanting to live where it snows and that's all thanks to myLot.

It's raining/sleeting and there is a mix of s**w and rain over NE Ohio. I'm not going anywhere, especially since they have gale warnings again. You stay safe and cozy too.

it's coming down good here, I was going to walk over to hubby's trailer (just across the driveway) but being it's coming down heavy I decided to just give him a call.

Tomorrow will be 36 degrees for the high, but then a week from today it is supposed to be 59 degrees for the high. It will fluctuate between those two numbers during the week. I was hoping for a few flurries, but, of course, nope.

Yep, hunkered down here, but the day wasn't too bad. Maybe later in the week it will be though.

I guess it's supposed to get "cooler" here as the week rolls by . . . but right now we are in the 70s. Feels like spring but otherwise I have no idea where this is going. Stay warm and dry out there!

It stormed and rained most of the night here and is still storming/raining off and on. We started the day at 43F, went up to 46F and the temp is falling again now. (Predicted low for tonight is 21F with winds here.) I don't want snow or ice, thank you. Please keep that weather for yourself. (Predicted snow/ice possible late Sunday night through Monday. We shall see.) I stepped outside to bring in the mail and that wind was COLD! I used some of the deboned smoked turkey with sweet Maya onions and scrambled eggs for late lunch. It was delicious. Pretty asked me to dice more Maya sweet onions and bell peppers to make turkey noodle soup tonight. I'm glad your daughter and her family are going around the storms and hope they make it home safely. Have a great rest of your day.

Down here in Australia it's supposed to be spring or summer, but it's still chilly and rainy on most days.
