Winter is definitely here

It rained off and on all night, and we are in a wind storm warning. It will get cooler for the next few days, with maybe some white stuff happening to fall. I had an errand to do, and did it, just to force myself to get out. My daughter in Minnesota (and her family) went to in laws in Nebraska. She texted me that they were on the way back but that there is a big snowstorm, so they are going around it. I am glad they are being safe. I need to go check the front door as Bruno decided to go out for a bit. Pedro says "not on your life". I have food cooked for tonight, and that is a good and welcoming idea. Hope you guys are all safe and comfortable as well.

it's coming down good here, I was going to walk over to hubby's trailer (just across the driveway) but being it's coming down heavy I decided to just give him a call.

I guess it's supposed to get "cooler" here as the week rolls by . . . but right now we are in the 70s. Feels like spring but otherwise I have no idea where this is going. Stay warm and dry out there!

Tomorrow will be 36 degrees for the high, but then a week from today it is supposed to be 59 degrees for the high. It will fluctuate between those two numbers during the week. I was hoping for a few flurries, but, of course, nope.

It stormed and rained most of the night here and is still storming/raining off and on. We started the day at 43F, went up to 46F and the temp is falling again now. (Predicted low for tonight is 21F with winds here.) I don't want snow or ice, thank you. Please keep that weather for yourself. (Predicted snow/ice possible late Sunday night through Monday. We shall see.) I stepped outside to bring in the mail and that wind was COLD! I used some of the deboned smoked turkey with sweet Maya onions and scrambled eggs for late lunch. It was delicious. Pretty asked me to dice more Maya sweet onions and bell peppers to make turkey noodle soup tonight. I'm glad your daughter and her family are going around the storms and hope they make it home safely. Have a great rest of your day.
