Observing others experiencing happiness while feeling unhappy oneself can lead to a sense of injustice about the world, and such feelings can intensify over time. This emotional spiral could ultimately contribute to the tragic outcome that occurred.

Children or anyone, really. I do not understand the why factor, either. What does this solve? How angry do you have to be to do stuff like this?

Yes, I thought of that. I also thought about a possible domestic problem, like maybe the parents of a child were quarreling.

To think of it happening...especially in that type of setting, is surreal and heartbreaking.

Nothing is how we think it's going to be anymore. And it's to the point that there is no such thing as normal, unfortunately.
