I hope you can get the knee fixed soon.
You should come here to go cycling... We're clear up to 30F now. You'd love it!

@TheHorse We dropped down to 21F during the night last night and are supposed to drop down to 18F tonight. Everything was covered in ice this morning and is still frozen solid right now. We're supposed to reach 49F by Wednesday afternoon. I will stay inside until then.

Best of luck to you, Just to give a few ideas. I had a torn cartilage in my knee while I was at my first job in NYC. My orthopedist said operations, week in hospital, and on crutches for a while. I knew sports doctors did miracles for all the big players, Remember this was the time of no PCs. I found the sports doctor for the NY Giants and he gave me an appointment. With him I had a laparoscopy that took care of the cartilage, a two-day hospital stay, and I walked home and after the weekend to work, and everybody was amazed. When I returned for a follow up visit this doc said I was healing better than some of his big bruisers,

I do hope you get that knee fixed. Might as well do it sooner than later, and you will be all set to be riding your bike in the spring.

I have a friend who had two knee replacements this past year, a few months apart. She is walking around and so happy to be able to get out and about without pain. I hope you can have it done soon.

@MarieCoyle I don't think I'll need a replacement. Just a good scraping.

@TheHorse It is encouraging to know that it remains possible to continue engaging in the activities that bring joy and fulfillment on a daily basis. There is hope for a complete recovery from the knee injury in the near future, allowing for a return to full strength, mobility, and comfort.
