Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 36 degrees F and dark here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is 48 and we are expecting rain. Ugh. I should be happy though because northern NJ is going to be getting snow and ice. I have a doctor appointment today so I had to take the day off. Oh well. I need to start dealing with some of the medical issues I've been ignoring for way too long. I posted reviews for Thursday's test so *in theory* that's what the students will be working on. In reality they will be playing on their phones which they aren't even supposed to have in class. Last year the students knew where the Jenga sets, UNO cards, Shut the Box, Apples to Apples cards, etc. were so they would help themselves and at least be social. This year everything is in a closet in one of the rooms I use and the OCD guy is nuts so he would buy out if students just went in there and helped themselves let alone coming from another classroom to do that. So phones it is. No big plans for the day aside from the appointment. I should go tanning since my great color from the summer is gone. The UV light always helps my mood in the winter as well.
