Where do you NOT like going during the Christmas season?

My answer? The post office, which I needed to go to today to mail a package. The line was to the door, and only three of the four windows were open. I was afraid I’d be standing forever, but it just took about 8 minutes (I timed it). Luckily, there was something to lean on because I can’t stand upright that long. As the line kept getting shorter I really hoped I wouldn’t get the hateful lady who was so rude to me the last time. I didn’t, thank goodness.
Do you hate to go to the grocery store this time of year? The mall? Or, is it the post office too?

@AmbiePam The time before this, I was trying to go in through the historically funky doors, A young guy came through from a door to my right. He had a bottle of pop in his hand. He burp belched very loudly in my face as I was trying to go in. Surprise. At least he had the grace to say "excuse me!" I said "Yeah!"

I stay out of stores on weekends during this time of year. I also didn’t go anywhere over last weekend because of the Thanksgiving travel crunch.
And yes, nowhere near a post office. I had enough of Christmas rush when I worked there.

Haven't thought about this in a long time, I guess the worst experiences of Christmas shopping were when I lived in NYC, Some of the stores would be so full you could hardly move, not be able to get near merchandise, and usually someone would shove you, Ho, ho, Ho

Definitely would avoid malls ( I never go to malls.) There’s too much static electricity with all the talking & multiple people and stores jammed into one building.. it does something to my brain.
But to be honest, I’d avoid the roads in general.
People are W-I-L-D around the holiday season, and it shows in their driving. Rush rush rush .. who cares.
Um, I care. About my car. Slow down, you maniacs.

I don't like standing in line at the PO this time of the year, but the Post Office that serves this rural area usually isn't busy, but if you go to one in the smaller town or the larger town you will stand in line.
