Good Friday Morning

You know the saying, the best laid plans? Yeah, they changed. My quiet writing day turned into leaving here by 8:30 and heading over to Housing to talk about my neighbor's lack of heat. They came yesterday, but nothing is fixed. Time to light a fire under someone's behind. It's too cold not to have heat in her apartment.
I've been awake since before 2. I had the laundry in the washer by 2. Now, it's done and waiting for me to fold it and put it away.
It's warmer than it was yesterday already. It's 17 F and getting up to 24 F today. We're having a heatwave after the last few days.
I'm all caught up on the notifications. Maybe I should go back to bed.

I was wide awake at 1 this morning. I stayed up until 4 and I conked out as soon as I laid down. Back up at 7 and started my day. I have some errands to run this afternoon then I plan to spend the rest of my day doing what I want to do.

Hope they can get your neighbors heat fixed quickly. You're right about it being too cold not to have heat.
My days fun includes mopping the bathroom floor, folding towels and definitely not going outside.

That's a cute pillow. You're right. You cannot be without heat in this weather, especially a senior. It was 10 here last night. After I'm done here, I'm going to get something to eat.

Friday (it's 7:20 am now) I have a chiropractor appt at 10 am then we'll have lunch at Texas Roadhouse. I was supposed to see a neurologist today at 10 but that got all the wires crossed, which I might write about later.
