Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 31 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. That is as “warm” as it is going to get today. I’m at work as usual. The students are drawing biology-themed Christmas ugly sweaters. It’s always fun to see what they come up with. We are hanging them on the lockers in the hall. I’m doing a class coverage at the moment. After school the Baking Club is decorating gingerbread houses. Hopefully it won’t take too long. I have 2 hours of tutoring from 4-6. So that’s $137 extra today. Not bad. What’s everyone else up to today?

Good afternoon... We started the day at 28F. I woke up and went out to get the mail from the front porch just now and it is 41F out there at 3 pm. At least the sun is shining and it's calm out today. Did you see any impressively ugly Christmas themed sweaters today?

I love the thought of biology themed ugly Christmas sweaters! I’m just going through a few bags today. Not feeling great so it seems wise to stay close to home.

I like that idea about the Christmas sweater pictures! Take a picture of one or two and post them for us? The gingerbread houses should be a lot of fun for the students. Especially since they have the little kits to use. Sounds like a full day for you. I have an appointment this afternoon but it shouldn't take too long. Otherwise, it's the usual stuff here today. It's noon, and the high is 20 degrees, snow on the ground still.
