Bought myself some treats this morning

We do fundraising for memorial scholarships for graduating seniors at work each year. There are different things--bake sales, The Souper Bowl, 50/50s, gift basket raffles, selling small items like mascot-themed ornaments and air fresheners, etc. Currently there is a sale of homemade soaps and tallow balms made by one of our secretaries. The soaps are $7 each and the tallow balms are $15. There is a combo deal though of 3 soaps and a tallow balm for $30. I've checked them out a few times over the past couple of days. Today I decided to just go for it and do the combo deal. I selected the coconut lime, oatmeal honey, and cucumber mint soaps and the whipped vanilla tallow balm. My intent was to keep the coconut lime soap for myself and then give the other 2 soaps and the balm to a family friend who always comes to Christmas dinner. But as I thought and talked about it with a student who also bought the same deal. As we compared and smelled what we each selected I realized that I picked the stuff that I did because *I* liked it. Soooooo I'm keeping everything and I will just have to get something else for the family friend.
