Good Afternoon 12/12

It's been eventful. I finally got my grocery shopping done this morning, which is why I wasn't here this morning. We went to my favorite store - Hy-Vee. After Hy-Vee we went to Fleet Farm. I know most of you aren't familiar with that chain. I think it's only in the midwest. Anyway, my Christmas shopping is now finished. I might get some stocking stuffers for my son and his girlfriend, but at least I have their gifts in bags under the tree. It looks kinda bare with only two gift bags.
That was today's plan. The other plan is to work on Faith to Believe. I'm hopefully on the final edit and revision for that book. I want to pubish it in January.
For those of you following Firestorm - I handed it to my proofreader this morning. I told her to take her time. I'm publishing two books before I will think about that one and possibly four books. My original purpose was to publish Faith to Believe and Love's Illusions this year and In the Hands of Mighty Men and Guns of War next year. We'll see if I can get all four of those published next year. That means Firestorm is slated for publishing in 2027. Everything decently and in order. The only reason Firestorm will move up the timeline is if God says so. Those four books are ahead of Firestorm.
I got a surprise at the grocery store this morning. I bought my turkey for Christmas. This time I'm making the bird. I let my neighbor make it for Thanksgiving. My stomach rebelled. I don't know what she does to make it, but going to bed with an upset stomach was no fun. It made me think I was also allergic to turkey. I really hope not. Chicken is bad enough. Yes, I love chicken. It does not like me. I get very sick from it, which is why they offered me salmon at the church volunteer Christmas party.
I feel like I'm rambling. So, I'll get right to the notifications and see what you're doing.
What are/were your plans for today, Friday December 12? Let me know in the comments. Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me. My latest Christmas rock.

I did complete doing surveys today by taking drinks to stay hydrated and get rid of a miner head cold/

I hope you aren't allergic to turkey, too. It's bad enough having to give up chicken!
No plans here. I've laid out hamburger meat for supper and will make pasta with it.
I like the rock painting!

@just4him You should be fine, then.
Thanks. Pretty asked me to make it and then didn't eat any. I don't think she was feeling okay last night.
You're welcome.

You have a lot of books in the works. Allergic to turkey? I wonder what the issue is.
The only plan for today was helping my grandson. We lost a pet during the night. Josh had been caring for him and they were very close. He is devastated.
Your rock is so cute.

I hope not. I never was before. I hope it was only the way she prepared it.
I'm sorry your grandson lost his pet during the night. It's not easy losing a pet, it's like cutting off your arm. I'm sure he's devastated.
Thank you. I'm glad you like it.

I hope you get all the books published. Also hope you can eat the turkey. We spent the day at the auction

Love the rock. Good luck with publishing your books. Do you self-publish or do you have a regular publisher? I hope you can eat turkey. It's so good! Friday we went to the lawyer and the Title Bureau. No plans for this weekend.

Thank you. I'm glad you like it.
Thank you. I self-publish with KDP.
I hope I can too. It should be okay. I eat turkey bacon and so far no problem with that.
I'm glad everything went well yesterday.

I'd rather have salmon than chicken any day.
