90 minute delay tomorrow at work

That is what I was expecting. It hasn't been officially announced yet but a coworker has an "in" and just texted me that was the plan. We did get more snow than expected (6 inches) but the roads are plowed by now. That being said it is the temperature is supposed to drop to 19 degrees F tonight so it will certainly be icy tomorrow along with pitch black at 7am. It only makes sense to do a delay.
That's fine with me as long as we don't get closed. Don't get me wrong I wouldn't be upset with a day off but that's one more day added in June and that interferes with my pool time.

Do they not build a few days into the school year for weather, etc. related stuff? Well, this is the Midwest, I guess that's what I am used to. Most school districts have ''snow days''--a limited number, if they take too many of the days they sometimes have to make them up at the end of the year. And then again, sometimes it seems they declare an ''act of God'' clause to erase the make up days if the weather is terrible. I honestly don't know how they shuffle it all, but they do not often make up any days close by to where I am.

I hope you don't have any ''no school'' due to weather days to lengthen your school year.

Be careful when you do get out tomorrow. Your car isn't suited for icy/snowy roads.
