The Grinch

Now this is one of my favorite Christmas characters created by the children’s book author Dr. Seuss. I don’t think even Seuss realized how popular this character would become. The Grinch is a green pot-bellied creature living in a cave atop Mount Crumpet with his dog Max. His home overlooks the village of Whoville. As a child every Christmas I loved the animated movie shown on TV about the Grinch. Today my favorite rendition is the movie about the Grinch “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” where the main character is played by Jim Carrey, I love it because it tells about how the Grinch came into the lives of the Who. Here is a scene from the movie and the song “You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch” but you know since the Grinch discovered Christmas I would not mind living with him and Max.
