Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 18 degrees F and dark here at the Jersey Shore. Ugh. The high for today is 34. I hate this weather. It is another day of work. My coworker is driving me in again since it was too cold for the snow to melt at all yesterday. My car is still locked in. It would have been nice if one of my neighbors helped me out over the weekend but whatever. I'd bet a lot of money that the heat is still out in the one classroom so I will be back in the media center. I'm going to have to figure out something to do with the students. I can't waste another day. The tutoring student's mother cancelled yesterday and said she would email me today to reschedule. We've had 4 times scheduled and she has only shown for 1. This is getting annoying. No big plans for the afternoon at this point. Maybe I'll have tutoring and maybe not. What's everyone else up to today?

I just have some errands to run this morning, then my best friend is coming over in the afternoon. I imagine she’ll be here a couple of hours. Fingers crossed the heat is actually on!

Good morning. It is 32F in my part of Missouri this morning. Our forecast high it 51F this afternoon. I hope you're mistaken about the heat in the school today and it is on. Enjoy your day. As far as I know, we aren't planning on doing anything today.

We have a bit of sun today and supposed to reach 35 degrees. That's a heat wave compared to what we have had lately! How many chances do these students get to do their tutoring? Attending one out of four sessions doesn't seem like they are trying very hard, good grief.

If they don't show up or cancel then I am not obligated to make up the hour. I didn't do the first one because you get paid for the 1st no-show. I rescheduled Friday's session to yesterday because I want the $$.
