Todays To Do List is Looking More Like a Won't Get Done List

Happy Wednesday Everyone! even though there's no snow in the forecast, it's overcast and certainly looks like snow. I'm just sitting here enjoying my coffee and thinking about what I want to cross off my "to do: list for today. I was feeling ambitious when I made my list and now...not so much I'm finding that the keys on my laptop are sticking and what started as one here and there has now become quite a few and so annoying. When my kids were asking what I wanted for Christmas and my birthday I should have thought to say a new laptop. They could have chipped in and given me one gift from everyone. But, now it's too late as most everyone is already finished with their shopping. So, it looks like I'll be looking for one in the new year. Meanwhile, I'll just have to double check what I'm writing and if something doesn't make sense, blame it on my laptop Hope everyone is having a good day and something to smile about

Good morning. It's overcast and we're supposed to get rain this evening. Thank goodness no snow! Some days I just don't feel like doing any work around the house. I DID do dishes this morning after I took my morning meds and fixed something for breakfast. Pretty keeps talking about getting me a new laptop. This one is fine for now. It's just slow. She came to my bedroom yesterday and asked when I wanted a new mattress for my bed. I told her this one was fine for now. (I have two mattresses on top of each other and neither one is very good. But it can wait. We'll have to rearrange my bedroom when we get a new one.)

Darn, I wish you could have gotten a new laptop. Maybe they’ll have an unexpected sale. I get so disappointed when something pops up I need to replace, and Prime Day or Black Friday has already passed. I have to take care of some unpleasant things to day, but that’s just life, of course. But I’ll feel so much better when it’s over!

I feel bad that you have some unpleasant things that you had to do today but hopefully it's over and the rest of your day is going well. I really should have listened to my daughter months ago when those first keys started sticking and she asked if I wanted a new laptop. At the time I said no and said this one was fine. Who knew more keys would start sticking.

Oh what a problem. If I had a problem with my laptop, I would switch to the chromebook. That reminds me though I need to fire that thing up. I haven't used it for a few months, and I don't want the battery to die.

@Marilynda1225 Amazon has good prices on laptops, but can't guarantee how good they are. They probably are not going to last like the name brand ones.

It's going to be 52 today; and the white crap will melt. Yay! Looks like you will be doing some laptop shopping. I'm hoping to get a couple more years out of mine. The keys are getting worn; but I have stick-on numbers and letters when that happens. Have a great day.

Your weather today will be what we get tomorrow. In the 50s with rain so Im sure our white stuff will also be gone by the weekend. I have those stick on letters too but now the keys are sticking so it's a pain to have to keep going back and pounding on the ones that are sticking.. My laptop is old and I've been trying to hold out as long as I can without having to buy a new one.

There has always been really good sales in January over the years, maybe you can get one at a really good price. I tried making lists years ago but I never looked at them after writing one so I stopped, I just do whatever comes to mind and not worry about things I'd forgot. Sooner or later I'll get to those I forgot.

If not in January maybe they will some good sales for Presidents Day. I really don't want to have to pay a high price if I can get one at a sale price. Most of my "to do" lists are mental rather than actual ones written on paper. I try to have some goals set for the day so I can go to bed feeling like I accomplished something
