Small Dog Wind Advisory

Sadie certainly looks all comfy and cozy. I can imagine that it would be hard for her to be out in a wind advisory. No wind here today. The sun is shining and the temperatures aren't quite as cold as they have been. Mush was happy to go out today without slipping and shivering.

It’s supposed to be windy, but not at the high wind warning levels that the Dakotas and Colorado are seeing. Can’t believe those wind reports from those areas…the equivalent of a cat 3 hurricane! Tie your doggie down!

We have high wind advisories, too. At least we don't have the Red Flag Warnings like Kansas has. It stormed earlier this morning. It is bright and sunny now but the temp has already dropped 10 degrees since I took my morning meds. We were at 60F at 5 am but are down to 50F now and dropping. We're supposed to be down to 45F by 5 pm.

Our weather team uses that term, small dog advisory, as well as large dog advisory. No sun today. Have had several thunderstorms, which seems odd after a blizzard but hey, it's washed out some of the snow. High winds today, up to 45-50mph. Then later the warmer temps leave us and it dives down quickly to 12 degrees. They are predicting an extremely crazy evening and night of black ice and possible power outages...we plan on staying home!! Sadie, don't blow away! Mama would have to chase you!

It's sunny and apparently 13°C/55°F out there but didn't seem that warm when I just checked the mail (a card from my sister and my bank statement). And it seems a bit breezy, so I think I'll just stay in, in my fuzzy bathrobe, thank you very much.

It's not windy today, it can get windy here..but not too often excessively. I remember I was in Gallup New Mexico once and there was like a 50 or 60 mph wind blowing. I had sand and cinder in my eyes .No one was batting an eyelash. I said is it always this windy to the motel clerk, She said pretty much yeah. The walls were rattling all night.

I hate really windy and blustery days they scare me. I'll tell you a wind story. Back in Latvia our cat Sid hated windy days and was quite grumpy on those days. Stayed inside as much as he could, The day after my hubby went to heaven I knew two things one was that the day was terribly windy with tree branches bending and I realized it was Martin being frustrated and angry at having had to leave life behind, But Sid?
