Getting closer to the big day. Some of my friends are spending the day in Charlottesville on Monday, and invited me to come along, but I have to go there Tuesday for an appointment plus I would have to drive all the way down to one's house, and ride in her van, and then drive back a good half hour. I need the time to work online and also, to start getting this Christmas feast together. I am sad I can't go, but hopefully another time. I would have done it Saturday, but Monday isn't gonna work for me. I hope everyone has a good day. What are you going to be doing?

I am going to get the groceries today, otherwise I am pretty much all ready for Christmas.
We will go to our son's place after I return so that my husband and our son can work on framing the walls for the basement.
Willow wants to have her birthday party down there next month, and it is not finished as of yet.......

The guys got the bulk of the framing done today.
Next will be to bring in an electrician, an HVAC guy to do the vents, then a drywaller, and someone to lay the flooring. I think that they are going with a drop ceiling so that they don't have to have bulkheads covered with drywall, and they will probably do that themselves.
It will be interesting to see if they have it done in a month's time for the birthday celebration. I kinda doubt it, but they are trying.

Son has two appointments this afternoon. It's super windy so that will be fun driving in.
Wish you could go on the fun trip with the friends, but I understand that sometimes we just can't. Have a great day, Snowy.

The traffic here the weekend before Christmas is just nuts. No matter what street I was on, it was bumper to bumper, and the interstate was the same. Yep, staying home sounds good today ! Thank you.

Sorry you're going to miss the trip with your fiends and that it's scheduled just a day before you have to be in Charlottesville
