Smoothy Gone Wrong

Sometimes, I can put together a smoothie and it's tasty, satisfies and fills me up. Sometimes.....today, was not that day.
As I age, I try to get in more protein, but get tired of the same thing or the cost becomes prohibited.
For lunch, in my wisdom (not), I tossed into a vanilla Muscle Milk; three huge frozen green grapes, pack of apple-cinnamon fiber wafers, and a banana. Yeah, the best word for this is, ick.
I'm drinking it anyway since calculated, this is pretty costly and on my budget, I can't be wasting.
Have you fixed something you thought would be delicious, only to find it gross?

I don't like smoothies but Pretty keeps bananas and strawberries in the freezer and adds fiber powder to it. (To me, that sounds nasty but she drinks it every once in a while.)2 people like this

That would taste really good I think my error was those fiber wafers added. I just wanted a complete nutritious meal. I couldn't drink it past a couple sips. I tried. My son must have felt sorry for me since he came back from town with a chicken sandwich for me.

Oh absolutely especially if it has lumps in it

I think some things are good in a smoothie and some are not. I have in the past fixed some dishes that didn't come out the way I had planned at all. Live and learn, I guess. Better luck next time with your smoothies.

I don't make smoothies. Too often my efforts at making bean burgers turns out to be not so tasty.

I'm sorry your smoothie didn't work. Hopefully next time.
