Firefighters rescue 2 persons who were trapped inside of an SUV

Philadelphia Pennsylvania firefighters came to the rescue of two persons who were trapped inside their auto on Friday afternoon when a tree fell on top of their auto.
Firefighters and rescue crews were able to rescue the two persons and have them taken by ambulance to a local hospital to be treated for their injuries which are not life threatening.
The cause of the tree falling on top of the auto was due to high winds in the area.

What an awful sort of freaky accident. We've had some high winds here and they are no fun. I'm glad these two are okay.

Wow, that looks like a bad accident. Many roadways are surrounded by trees lines along the shoulder. I've actually seen felled trees on the road once when I was traveling through PA.

I had to deal with similar issues when Hurricane Katrina struck south Louisiana in 2005.
