Don't park here. Who would want to?

I am trying to sort out my photos. I have duplicates of a lot; one in a larger size and one under 3MB if I’ve used it for myLot. I came across this one at a community hall iin a small West Australian town. It says ‘Don’t park under the verandah’. There doesn’t seem room there for a car so maybe they don’t want gophers parking there. The photo was taken in the small town of Nornalup which, despite having one of the highest rainfalls in the state, has to have all its domestic water trucked in. The authorities say it’s cheaper than building a dam or a pipeline.

I’m so glad they gave us the parking warning!

It makes me wonder if somebody parked in front of the door so nobody could get it open... Some people will do anything.

@JudyEv That's easily possible, too.

I think it would have been maybe an elderly person who parked a four-wheeler on the verandah and blocked up the walkway.

But I want to ship my car to Australia just to park there!! It almost makes you wonder what prompted that sign….

I think it would have been mobility aids for the elderly which blocked the paths. If something was parked there, then pedestrians would have been blocked.
