Don't park here. Who would want to?

I am trying to sort out my photos. I have duplicates of a lot; one in a larger size and one under 3MB if I’ve used it for myLot. I came across this one at a community hall iin a small West Australian town. It says ‘Don’t park under the verandah’.
There doesn’t seem room there for a car so maybe they don’t want gophers parking there. The photo was taken in the small town of Nornalup which, despite having one of the highest rainfalls in the state, has to have all its domestic water trucked in. The authorities say it’s cheaper than building a dam or a pipeline.

It makes me wonder if somebody parked in front of the door so nobody could get it open... Some people will do anything.

@JudyEv They might know why. I did think maybe bicycles had been a problem.

@judyev You just can’t be too sure about some people’s parking choices. We had an oik park right across the front door of the Church making it impossible for a wheelchair user to get in. When the driver turned up he said he thought it would be okay since it was the weekend! I had to explain to him that Sunday is when Church happens. Makes you wonder.

When we see unusual warnings, we have to remember that someone likely did whatever it was that they are warning against at least once to make the warning necessary.

But I want to ship my car to Australia just to park there!!
It almost makes you wonder what prompted that sign….

That is unusual. Perhaps someone once in a hurry blocked the door with their car,

Signboards in Japan in English that are meant for tourists give us a good laugh.
"You are invited to take advantage of the chambermaid."
"The flattening of underwear with pleasure is the job of the chambermaid."
"The manager has personally passed all the water served here."
"The lift is being fixed for the next day. During that time we regret that you will be unbearable."

Not enough space to park, that's what I make out from the picture. And if someone parked, the doors would not open. Good to give a warning there

@JudyEv I thought the same. Even people park there, it would be inconvenient as doors won't open.

I think it would have been mobility aids for the elderly which blocked the paths. If something was parked there, then pedestrians would have been blocked.
