Good morning myLot

Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 36 degrees F and cloudy here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is just 46. I took a late nap last night so then was up at 10p and wide awake texting with my ex. I eventually managed to fall back asleep at midnight but my body is on the work schedule so I was up again at 5:30am. At least I didn't have to listen to the alarm going off. So here I am. I have no plans for the day which is fine with me. All I HAVE to do is put the gift cards for my niece and nephew into cards and put 2 bottles of wine into a gift bag. That's it. What will I get up to? You know it will be something in the kitchen. I want to get a sourdough starter going again. I want to make a lemon pound cake for my neighbor who just had the baby. Who knows what else will pop into my mind? What's everyone else up to today?

Good morning. I fell asleep during the night while listening to old-time Bugs Bunny cartoons playing. I've taken my morning meds and am eating breakfast now. It is 61F in my part of Missouri with a high of 73F. It's cloudy outside now but will turn sunny after while. Pretty got up sometime early this morning and laid out chicken to thaw, a pan to bake the chicken in and veggies she apparently wants for lunch today. I wasn't planning anything for today but the baked chicken and veggies sounds fine to me. Nothing else is going on today. I hope you enjoy your day.
