It was a good one. Son and friend actually showed up yesterday much to my surprise, creating a bit of hustle on my part. However, it was a good visit, and son with with his advanced handyman skills was able to take care of several nagging issues around here..including that stupid closet door that has been stuck since maybe September..plus a number of equally annoying tasks. He ate a lot of ham and sprite, but I was happy to provide it. He and friend gave me some generous gifts as well .talked to other family, so nice Christmas. How was yours?

At least you handled nicely the hustle caused by your son and his friend. Family gathering especially in the joyous seasons of the years binds the closeness of a family.

That is fantastic! I am so so glad they both came and brought some Christmas spirit to add to what you already had.
We had a great time today. We left at 7:20am to go to my sister’s, and everyone opened their presents. I couldn’t believe how loud it got! Not just because of the kid’s natural volume, but the toys they voluntarily bought them!
Around 11:30am we left for the church fellowship hall, and everyone gathered to eat at noon. It was quite a feast, and all I ate were sides!
I got home around 3:40pm. I am tired.
