Back on Netflix. . . for now

I swear there is no rhyme or reason to it. I've been on my ex's Netflix account since, well, since he signed up for it when we were married or even before that. After I moved out he let me stay on it as well as the Xfinity (cable/email) account. Hey fine with me if I don't have to pay for it. It was all good with Netflix for several years until last Christmas when my BIL wanted to watch the football game. He couldn't log in with his parents' account so I was all "oh we can use (ex)'s". Yeah it worked just fine. Then the next time I tried to watch something on Netflix I was blocked and it said that I wasn't part of the household. He didn't remove me or anything. It was just me using the account at yet another IP address. He's verified that I'm part of the household a few times which of course I'm not as we live at different places. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. This morning just for you-know-whats and giggles I decided to see if I could get onto Netflix. I can. So strange. I have The Goonies playing. It will be interesting to see how long this lasts for.

My childhood best friend gave me her sign in because she wanted me to watch a specific movie, and I checked Christmas Eve, and I can still get it. But I feel funny using her account. I wouldn’t feel funny though if it was my ex. I’m glad you can use his.

I was locked out of my SIL's account as well. I haven't tried to log in lately.

No real rhyme or reason. I have never had a Netflix account.

I have discovered Pluto TV which is free and I am binge watching Frasier. Did you and the cat crew rock around the Christmas tree?

I would love to watch the Goonies again! We cancelled our Netflix subscription last year, but have been talking about re-subscribing again next year.

That's good that you can still use his account. Better make the most of it while you can.
