I just got sis's late Christmas gift in the mail, and she mailed into inside the insulated cooler that friend got me from Buccees. I left it up there accidentally when we were visitng at Thanksgiving. I didn't think I would see that thing until Easter when will we probably make a foray up to Pennsylvania. Glad to have it back, and the gifts of course. I am famous for leaving things behind..even when I think I have everything something invariably turns up missing. Did you ever leave something behind when you were visiting? I kinda think this might partially be unique to me.

Normally, if I don't attempt to find what was lost, it will magically appear in the house. I normally misplace my chargers and keys.

I am a person who double checks constantly. Honestly, I think it comes from raising a pack of kids, I just learned to check to be sure they were leaving with whatever they arrived at the spot with that was theirs. We all misplace things sometimes!

I will do it if It is something really important, or that I know I will miss if I don't have it like the phone. I am especially careful with my DL and payment cards..

I don’t usually leave anything behind when I visit family because they always tell me to go back and look around, and usually they go and look too. My grandmother did that, passed it on to my mom, who passed it on to my sister. So there was always someone going behind me, looking. I guess because of that, I take extra care at hotels as well.

We always do a double check at hotels, because you know if you leave something there, you are unlikely to see it again.

It's always something that mysteriously gets misplaced or left behind.

I left a hand crocheted baby blanket my mother made at a motel once.I don't know why I didn't try harder to get it back. That was an heirloom.
