It’s 86 Degrees

Tell me about your weather, especially if it is cold. Because it is December 27th, and in Oklahoma it is 86 degrees F (30 C). The air conditioner is on, and I am not amused. I hear tell (country speak) it will be 68 degrees tomorrow, and I’m desperately hoping that’s true. It’s not cold, but it’s cooler.

I like living where the seasons are defined...not really sure why, but I do. I do not like really hot weather. It's exhausting and it's hard for me to be outside in high heat. 86 degrees..,,.that's pretty hot!
It's currently 42 degrees with another dark and dreary, and drizzly day--the 5th one in a row. It's supposed to warm up this afternoon, Tomorrow we warm way up for a while, to 62! Crazy. Then the temps take a big dive, and rainy tomorrow night, high winds, they are predicting with the temperature dive there will be black ice. I do NOT like ice, snow is a lot easier to navigate!

I think Monday we have a high of 38 degrees, which will be nice.
Yes, ice is far worse than snow. We had black ice a couple of weeks ago, and we had 100 wrecks in two hours because, of course, no one could tell it was there. And too many morons don’t heed warnings.

Many people just don't ever slow down for ice. They think they can zoom right over it, and that doesn't work out well.

I would be beyond disgusted with a temp like that in December, unless I was in Florida or something. On ocassion this region does have some warm temps...not right here, (Usually happens in Feb here)but Richmond area. I still remmber one time in January I saw a guy sunning himself beside the pool in January.HE Had trunks on..
. That was like a one day thing though, balmy down there, but by the time I reached the halfway point coming back here, the wind was blowing and it was about 45 degrees maybe.

It stayed cloudy here today and we have a high of 75F today. Tomorrow it will be around 66F for a high and then getting colder starting around noon and ending up around 36F tomorrow evening.
Monday the high here is supposed to be 28F.

@AmbiePam I hadn't checked the temps beyond Tuesday until you told me that. We'll be in the mid-50s by next weekend.

Shouldn't that also be in Florida, We stay in the low 70s and at night in the 60s. Right now that is as warm as we get here,
