Good morning myLot

Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 25 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is just 43. Ugh. I hate winter! Bring on the summer. I was up in the middle of the night so got up at 8am today. That's late for me when I'm on my work schedule. Oh well. I have no plans to go anywhere so it doesn't matter. I can nap whenever I want. For now I'm up and watching the Sunday morning news shows and making a batch of corn muffins. (no not from a mix) I plan a bubble bath in a bit and some kind of kitchen mischief. I definitely don't plan to go anywhere in these cold temperatures. Ugh. What's everyone else up to today?

A bubble bath sounds so good! I hope you enjoy it. My dad is coming over after church to watch football, but that’s all I have planned for today.

Currently -1°C, with periods of (possibly freezing) rain. Yup, I ain't goin' nowhere, neither, especially as I had trouble sleeping last night and didn't get up until almost 10. Juanita was planning on coming down today but the weather forecast scared her, so she's staying snug, too.

Good afternoon. We started the day at 65F but our high has already been reached at 70F. The temp started dropping at noon. We'll have a low of 39F by 5 pm and continue dropping after dark. We have high winds (25 to 40 mph) and rain now. I wondered where you were early this morning. I'm glad you just stayed in bed this morning. I've been working in the kitchen, putting leftovers in the freezer, dividing hamburger and sausage into bags for meals later this month and cooked hamburgers for lunch and supper tonight.

It's very warm here right now--freakishly warm, over 60. This afternoon the weather appears to want to put us in a high powered blender of ridiculously high winds, and a drastic temperature drop. Good possibility of wind damages, power outages, and tornados! Yuck. I'll trade your weather today for ours if you want?
