Do you have any Christmas decorations that stay up all year?

I have a picture in my bathroom that is technically a Christmas picture but it doesn't scream Christmas. It is red and yellow with a bit of green and says joy and blessings. That is a nice piece and stays up all the time. I also have a little hanging that says Noel which is on the coat closet door. I just like the colors in it. I never take it down. I was thinking that I will not take my outside lights down. I love the way they look against the darkness of the night. Well. The porch garland with lights I will take down. However, the other outside lights are battery powered, and they will stay until the batteries run out. I had some other lights out there that had energizer batteries in them..They lit up for months! Do any Christmas pieces stay up for you all year?

I have a piece in my bathroom that is silver and crystal and says "Joy" and some light house tree ornaments that stay out deliberately. Other things get accidentally left. I have snowmen on my table right now and plan to leave them until Valentines. They are not strictly Christmas.

I think things that aren't obviously Christmas don't look inappropriate if they stay out all winter, like stuff with snowflake designs that are bluish for instance. Those are really just winter decorations.

Only a small framed picture red and white that is in front of our entry door. It's a Christmas ball morphing into a Christmas landscape. I took a photo.

I have a Christmas wreath up behind my TV, that has been there for five years. It looked nice and festive, and I took it down every year until my dad bought me a new TV that was really big. Now, it doesn’t show at all, and I can’t reach it, so it stays.

@snowy22315 I should ask my dad to hold the TV still while I try to get it.

I have a handmade metal sign that says "Merry Christmas" hanging above the French doors that lead out to my back deck. I had a metalsmith make it for me about 8 years ago. I don't know why I don't ever take it down, but it's been hanging there ever since I got it. Of course, it's a great conversation starter whenever someone comes and visits my home!

@snowy22315 I'm pretty sure it's made out of polished aluminum, but it is so shiny and smooth that it looks like silver!

I have one, yes. My grandmother left me her nativity she brought from the UK years ago. It stays out. It's only a few pieces, not that large--Mary, Joseph, and the tiny manger with baby Jesus. I just can't make myself put it away. It doesn't really look Christmas-y. It just helps me somehow to have it there to look at every day. A picture that speaks of joys and blessings is definitely something that needs to be out all year long!

I have a few sets of lights that stay up. Some I unplug after Christmas. But my rope light out front stays plugged in all year. It's on a solar timer so kicks on at dusk for a set number of hours.

The battery operated lights come on when it is dark. I had a strand of colored lights that I kept in my kitchen last year because they were so pretty. I might actually get some more of those.

Sadly my HOA makes us take down our outside lights by Jan 6. Many of my neighbors keeps those battery candles in their windows year round. It really does look pretty at night. I don't really have any Christmas decorations around that I don't put away except for one lonely ornament that my kids gave me that say Best Mom so that's on my entertainment center. Otherwise everything else gets put away.
