I'm dehydrated

It has not been a good day for me in terms of eating or keeping any fluids down. Ugh. I keep trying with the Gatorade but so far no luck. I've alternated between being freezing and being hot. I woke up, felt terrible, called out of work, posted an assignment on Google Classroom, and went back to bed. I was unable to fall back asleep though. I don't have a TV in the bedroom so basically I just laid in bed for hours in silence. Adso has been very clingy. He knows that something is wrong.
Aside from just knowing that I can't keep anything down my fingers are stiff and it is difficult to bend my knuckles. That's a fun new phenomenon that's happened to me a few times now. When I started typing this post it was a challenge. They've seem to have loosened up a little now though.

Do you have anyone you can call if you need help? You can get so dehydrated that even ice chips do not stay down. Home remedies I have heard, and sometimes used are to dilute Jello with extra water and sip slowly. Do not do red as it tends to look like blood when you throw up or have diarrhea. Ginger ale, or ginger tea is helpful for some. I have also read that the syrup from peaches in heavy syrup will stay down. I think for that and for the jello it is the sugar.

Well, I sure hope you can get it figured out and start feeling much better. I have had moments of either my left or righ hand fingers numbing up and then I exercise them, and they go back to normal, and i can pound on the keyboard again,

I thought that you had planned on going to the doctor some months ago. I see by a future post that you went to the ER. I'm very concerned for you.

I'm sorry you don't feel well and hope you can keep some fluids down soon.
When I get dehydrated, my arthritis starts acting up. I have it in my hands/fingers and both feet. My feet usually start with a dull ache in bones I broke when I was around 10 years old. I know when that ache starts, I'd better drink lots of water fast or I won't be able to walk because my feet ache too much for me to put weight on them.
