Trump just claimed Venezuela is giving the US 30-50 million barrels of oil

This guy is freaking INSANE. First he claimed that big oil companies (aka his donors) were willing to invest billions of dollars in Venezuela to harvest the oil for the US. Then it came out either last night or early this morning that they were NOT consulted nor were they willing to do so. In any case it would take decades to build the infrastructure in Venezuela to do so. So what did the madman just post on his failing social media site? Read it and weep: "“I am pleased to announce that the Interim Authorities in Venezuela will be turning over between 30 and 50 MILLION Barrels of High Quality, Sanctioned Oil, to the United States of America. This Oil will be sold at its Market Price, and that money will be controlled by me, as President of the United States of America, to ensure it is used to benefit the people of Venezuela and the United States! I have asked Energy Secretary Chris Wright to execute this plan, immediately. It will be taken by storage ships, and brought directly to unloading docks in the United States. Thank you for your attention to this matter!" First of all why would Venezuela just do that? Why would they just give it up to the US? And the very idea that Trump would be controlling an amount of oil worth $1-3 billion is beyond insane. We all know that he is a lying, thieving, grifter who is only out for himself. And the MAGA cult will cheer and say what a brilliant idea this is.
