Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 39 degrees F and dark here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is 53 which feel positively balmy after the past couple of weeks. It was a rough night here for me. I don't mean in terms of how I feel but due to a total lack of sleep. I took a Trazadone and fell asleep at 9:15pm but I woke up just an hour later. I was then up until like 1:15am and went back to sleep. I woke up at 2:15. I fell asleep yet again at 3 and woke up at 4. I gave up at that point. It is like I'm being punked. Over the past 2 days I've had a grand total of 7 hours of sleep. That is not nearly enough for me.. I was just in the bathroom and was afraid to see what I look like. Well my eyes are beyond bloodshot due to the lack of sleep. What is more horrifying though is the wrinkles under my eyes. I normally use an undereye treatment each morning but I was too distracted to do that or pack it before I headed here. I thought "okay I'll just use hand cream" and don't you know it is like the first time in my life I don't have any in my purse. And of course I took the bottle of tanning lotion out of my bag when I was packing my electronics, a book, etc. Oh well at least I always have deodorant in my purse. If I don't get discharged today then I will ask my neighbor to bring me a few things (brush, toothbrush, fresh socks, moisturizer, etc). She likely won't even balk at the $5 parking fee because I sent her $100 via Venmo the last time she had to watch the cats. I am supposed to see the hematologist and oncologist today. At least that's what I assume since the referral was put in yesterday afternoon. I hope that is the case because I need to get back to work. (I never thought I would be saying that) The principal knows what is going on and apparently he told the head secretary because she texted me last night. Of course I will have documentation that I've been here. Hell I'll give him the medical bracelet if he wants it. So for now it is a whole lot of just waiting around. . . in case you haven't noticed from the zillion posts over the past day and night. I'm catching up on the news and looking forward to a real breakfast. My stomach is making some crazy sounds. What's everyone else up to today?
