Puppy Cuddle Time

Happy Thursday Everyone! looks like we might see some sun today along with the skies that are showing signs of blue. It would be so nice to enjoy a warmer day with sunshine. Tomorrow is rain into Saturday. But, at least it's too warm for any of it to freeze.
I'm sitting here enjoying my coffee and my breakfast (cinnamon raisin English Muffin with cream cheese and raspberry jam and a handful of grapes}. However, the pup is being extra needy and wants to sit on my lap. So, it's a balancing act between not spilling my coffee, eating my breakfast, making room for the pup and plopping the laptop on what little room is left, It's really funny how today the pup wants to cuddle and other days is perfectly content to play with her toys and ignore me.
I don't have anything exciting planned for today. Actually it's nice to have a quiet day after all the holiday craziness.
I haven't decided what to make for dinner yet but I do have a beautiful head of cauliflower that I will cut up, spray with olive oil, a little seasoning and roast in the oven. Probably baked potatoes since the oven will already be on and either roast chicken or a small pork tenderloin. Guess when my daughter takes her lunch break I'll see if she has a preference over the chicken or pork.
That's pretty much sums up what's happening here.

Mush is such a sweetie! Sadie is currently curled up by my side on the couch.
I was going to have my dad and stepmom over for dinner, but suggested they just come over for lunch, so they did. They both really liked it. It was nice to have company.

She's extra clingy today which is unusual but im happy to hog her up until she flat leaves me when her mommy gets off from work.
Did your dad and stepmother enjoy those pimento aracini?

@Marilynda1225 They really did! He was telling Diana they needed to buy some and she agreed. He doesn’t usually like new things, but he sure loved those.

So true, thankfully he doesn't try and as for Tuffy, he won't sit on my lap no matter what.

Roscoe certainly wouldn't make a very good lap dog 
but I bet Tuffy is a perfect size for your lap

Nico was just up here a little bit ago. He knows where to sit so he doesn't interfere with the rectangle mommy stares at all day... Have a great day!

Nico is smart. I don't know what's up with Mush today. She is extra cuddly. At least she's small and doesn't take up a lot of room. I don't know what I would do if she was a bigger dog.

I love it when the pups want to cuddle. Now that I don't have any, I look forward to cousin #2's Pomeranian. He runs through the door and jumps in my lap. I just had pork tenderloin; so I vote for the chicken. lol Today another contractor comes to give me an estimate on the plumbing, electrical and carpentry work that needs to be done. Have a good weekend.

I have the ceiling fan going but haven't had to turn on the A/C yet. Soon I'll have washing to peg out and it will be dry in about an hour, going by today's temperature.
