I Heard Back about a Job!

Hey all, after applying for about a dozen or so jobs, I received an email today about one for which I applied last week. It was an email sent to all of the candidates for the position (I was blind-copied, so I'm not sure how many others there are), and it was an invitation to do some skills testing - word processing, spreadsheet, data entry, writing, and proofreading.
I don't type very fast, but I'm generally accurate, so I think I'll do fairly well. I'm confident in my writing and proofreading abilities, at least...and I am definitely going to go over this post to make sure there aren't any obvious errors that will embarrass me for saying that.
Hopefully my test results will be acceptable enough to earn me an interview. Wish me luck!

I'm not sure this is what you'd call a dream job, but it's probably fine. Thanks for your good wishes!

God bless the works of your hands. if you are not fast in typing, make sure to block your mind from any disturbance or negative thinking before you take the exam, it will help a little. The important thing is not how fast you type, but the less errors you have or better to have zero errors.

Yes, fewer errors is better. I think extremely fast typing is really only required by certain specific jobs, like transcription or court reporting.
