It seems like it comes earlier every year. It used to not start until mid February, but I noticed a sign up by the Food Lion plaza so they may start this weekend. Why are they making those scouts and their parents brave the winter air to sell cookies? Anyway, this year's new cookie are the Exploremores based on Rocky Road flavor with the addition of almond cream. I know which cookie I will be buying. Do you usually buy Girl Scout cookies?

I’ve never bought a Girl Scout cookie in my life. I’m not really tempted by cookies.

I was a Girl Scout for years, and for several years I also was a troup leader. One of my aunts was, too, she gave me great ideas for helping the girls do the work for the badges. For some years she oversaw the Girl Scouts in her state,so she had lots of great ideas! Of course when I was one, I sold the cookies. I haven’t purchased any in years and years. They are crazy expensive, and truthfully. I make great cookies, which my kids prefer.

it.s a traditionand supports the scouts. You have to consider more like a donation.

Nope. But I always joined the Girl Scout activity each school year until my first year high school.

I'd be interested in trying the new cookie and yes I usually do buy Girl Scout cookies. It certainly does seem as if they're selling them early this year

I am sure they are thinking extending the season will lead to more cookie purchases.

I don't think I've ever been in a town where we were offered these.

I haven't seen any Girl Scouts in about 20 years. They used to come to the door.
