If not for that kitty in the photo I'd have taken Roscoe on trips to where ever, but that's ok, I'm probably not young enough to go truckin the way I used to.
So this is the reason I thought of this, Bob Weir passed away today Jan 10 2026, I'm not sure if he was the last member of the Grateful Dead but I do know that band has lost a hell of a lotta members so far.
I can't do him justice the way @fourwalls does it and I ain't no dead head but I love this one song and figured just maybe some of ya'll like it too.

. Part of life - but not easy.
I've had "older" friends since my skating days - in my late 20s - and sadly many have already passed on from years ago. And now in the senior tai chi class, I know many older folks again - deep inside I do think about these things. There have been some my age that have passed on (really, really shocking to realize that reality still) - age wise you're right it's very unexpected.

You're very welcome.
I think most of us expect our grandparents to pass when we're young like you, then when we're older we know our parents will pass, it's never easy.
You're not old enough yet to expect people your own age to be passing that often but if you have friends that are much older it becomes harder to deal with. I wish I had some positive words of wisdom but there are none that I can think of about this situation
