Dang! It's still in the 30s F here!

As you know, I live in sunny California. Well, sunny and and then rainy California this Fall and early Winter. I am maybe 20 miles inland from the Bay, so we do have "seasons" here, but it's still pretty temperate overall. This morning, as I drove to get some beer for this afternoon's music practice, my truck's "outside thermometer" showed the temperature at 38 F. Not cold by this Chicago boy's standards, but still chilly. I did wear my Winter coat. How is the weather where you live?

Funny that I never associate California with being cold enough for a winter coat. Our temps here today are almost at 40 F, sunny and no snow or nasty anything for the next few upcoming days.,

I sat out on our front porch most of the afternoon, soaking up some sunshine and reading a new ebook on my phone while a mechanic played with my car. He took the battery back to his garage to recharge it since it couldn't be jumpstarted this time. I guess he'll bring a battery back tomorrow... It was 55F here all afternoon.

The lows get in the thirties at night, but the highs have been in the low 60s. This week our highs go to the 50s, so I look forward to these chilly nights.
