Hot Cocoa Flight

Just over a week ago, when my family was on vacation at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, we spent our final day of the trip visiting Disney Springs, a large shopping, dining and entertainment district on the Walt Disney World resort property (think very large outdoor mall). While we were walking around, we passed a bar called the Hangar Bar, a quaint little place with WWII aviation vibes. What drew us in was a sign out front that was still promoting a lot of their Christmas specials, and so we decided to enjoy one last Christmas flare before we ended the trip.
I ordered the hot cocoa flight, three distinct hot chocolates that were jazzed up to different themes/tastes. There was a gingerbread cocoa, a hazelnut cocoa, and a sugar cookie cocoa. They were all incredibly amazing.
What made me think about them today was the fact that I am craving them due to the next couple of days of sub-freezing weather here in north Florida, coupled with the fact that I am still suffering from the flu.
Those three hot cocoas would really hit the spot for me right now. Wouldn't you like to enjoy one or more of those drinks?
Which one do you think would be your favorite: the gingerbread, the hazelnut, or the sugar cookie? My favorite was the hazelnut cocoa, although all of them were amazing.

I'd be interested trying the hazelnut cocoa. I used to LOVE eating hazelnuts we grew on the farm when I was growing up.
I really wish you'd hurry up and get over your flu.

Why do you need me to hurry up and get over my flu? Am I spending too much time on myLot for your comfort? LOL

@DaddyEvil I have plenty of sick time to use, so I'm still getting paid for sitting at home. I'm actually saving money since I'm not buying any snacks or drinks from the vending machines at work.

You don't want to share the wealth? Or in this case the flu? The faster we spread it, the faster everyone will build up an immunity to it!
You picked a good one in choosing the hazelnut. They were all absolutely delicious, but I've always been a big fan of hazelnut.

Me too.
Hazelnut has always been a favourite of mine.
Can't risk getting any flu or anything else.
Yvonne was hospitalised in October, Strep Pneumoniaa
No risks now, masks are worn again now when I am out.
She hasn't been out of the house since Nov 8th except for one hospital appointment

Me too, but in this instance it was the one I liked least. Which is not to say I didn’t like it, but the other two were just that delicious.

If they had no calories I'd take the gingerbread, then the sugar cookie.
I'm sorry you have the flu. My niece has it, too.
Get well quickly! And watch out for falling iguanas!

Thankfully, I live too far north for iguanas, but where my son lives in south Florida there are millions of them. There were never any iguanas back when I lived there, I guess they have completely taken over the urban areas of south Florida. So no we have the pythons in the Everglades, and the iguanas in the suburbs. I wish the pythons would eat the iguanas, and then in turn get eaten by the gators.

Oh, I’m sure they were laden with calories. Probably more than I care to know. But they were oh so good, and worth every calorie.

The sugar cookie cocoa was my second favorite after the hazelnut one. And even though it was good, the gingerbread one wasn't quite as tasty as I had hoped it would be.

I'm glad you're a hazelnut fan like me. Most often I will have some hazelnut coffee on hand at the house, as it's one of my favorite flavors of coffee to drink. And my go-to drink at coffee shops is almost always a hazelnut latte.

@moffittjc It's so good and they even say it's healthy. Not that I really care.

I love hazelnuts. Frankly I would rather have a cup of tea right now...I'm freezing.

I’ve been drinking a lot of tea this week due to me have the flu. I’m not usually a big tea drinker, but it sure hits the spot when you’re sick!
I hope you can get and stay warm soon!

Nope... I was thinking more about the money you're losing by not being at work.
