What’s your Go-To?

I got a free pair of booties that keep my feet incredibly warm, and have grip on the bottom so they are perfect to wear around the house. While I have other socks, when it gets cold I head for those booties/socks. Growing up, I always knew when my mom didn’t feel well when she’d wear a particular wrap dress. My dad and sister would always marvel I could tell when she was sick, and I’d tell them she had “Don’t Feel Good Dress”. That was her go-to. It must have been so comfortable to her. What are your go-tos, in any context?

Simply changing into 'home' clothes after I've been out makes me feel much more relaxed.

I have a long gown that I always like to wear at night around the house before I sleep in my jammies. My mother had a particular skirt and blouse that she insisted on wearing when going out (Alzheimers.)

Normally I like to be barefoot but on chilly days my "go to" is a nice pair of fuzzy slippers.

My husband ordered a bathrobe off Amazon and they sent the wrong size, so I got it instead. That thing is AMAZING. It's SO soft and plushy and I love it! Not only did he order another one for him (in the right size, this time), I ordered another one for ME in a different color!

I bet it was warm and comfortable and made her feel good when she wore it.i can’t really think of anything when I’m sick that I wear any differently then any other day.

I do have go-to house slippers - they are knit, black and mostly comfy. But I noticed the toe part is beginning to show signs of wear and tear . . . looks like I need to go-to the store to get another pair .

When I'm feeling chilly, sometimes even before I put my PJ's on, I put on a thick fuzzy robe that was given to me several Christmases ago by a now ex-girlfriend of my brother's.

I don't like to wear long sleeves; so when I'm cold around the house, I wrap up in my blanket. It's my go-to.

I have a paid of slippers with soles and the inside is lined with sheepskin. They are super warm and I wear them inside all winter long.
