Luxury is a Nice Feeling

I bought my daughter and I new blankets. (I had already gotten my grandson one). They just came. They are so soft. Made of 100% polyester but they feel so luxurious. So soft and feather-like. The size is 60x70. I think they might even help me relax and fall asleep. They are a nice change from the old ones.
Have you gotten yourself anything new and luxurious lately?

They are comfy. A new recliner? How nice. We need a new one of those too. Cami was sleeping in the old one downstairs. She kept falling asleep. Her back paid the price too. I hope we can get a new one of those and a new couch. They were both old when we got them.

@celticeagle It's horribly hard to know what to do about new furniture. This not cheap recliner is upholstered. I worried about it lasting for more than a week due to Beau kitty's tendancy to shape his nails on things. Hubby said that faux leather would fare no better. There is one area now that is not terribly bad but for sure not brand new looking.

18.5 tog, really warm. Love it.
At our time of life we deserve luxury do we not?

Pretty bought a new deep freeze and installed it this weekend. (I couldn't see well enough to help her with it. She told me to go back to bed and she'd manage...)

@Fleura I didn't mean to make it a secret but yes, that's one of the items she's buying in the next couple of months. (I also need a new mattress for my bed and I'll need to rearrange my bedroom when that arrives.)

Last month, my wife had shown me her new silver ring bought by her youngest daughter who is a teacher by profession. She's very happy.
